September's Seminar... Tom Sutton

We will be holding our 4th seminar in our "What Next? Careers in Psychology" Seminar Series on the 17th of September at 5pm in PSYC G6.




Our guest speaker is TOM SUTTON of Sutton and Williams Psychology Services, established in 1988.

Tom completed his Psychology Honours in 1969 on the thinking style of murderers held in Long Bay Prison. Forty years later, he is now doing a research PhD on APOE4 allele, beta amyloid and cognitive function in brain disease and injury. For 19 years Tom worked in hospitals including Concord Repatriation Hospital, and a number of Psychiatric Hospitals. He has also been part of the Australian Army Psychology Corps (res) 1967 - 1986. Tom has been a member of the ACT Psychologists' Registration Board 1998 - Sept 2004. He has alo acted as a consultant to the AFP Hostage Negotiation teams, and witness hypnosis consultant to AFP and NSW Police.

Tom's speech will be followed with FREE CHEESE AND WINE. !
